Knoxville (WVLT) - A pet food maker is once again expanding its recall.
Menu Foods, says it widened the callback because of the possibility the products that were tainted with a chemical came into contact with other foods made in the same period.
The expanded recall includes not just the cuts and gravy pet food, but also other products that were not made with the contaminated wheat gluten, but were manufactured during the period the gluten was used.
The recall now includes additional pet food products in the US, Canada, and Europe.
More than 100 brands of pet food have been recalled since March.
An unknown number of dogs and cats have been sickened or died.
