Knoxville (WVLT) -- Cars from the Greatest Generation put on a great show this weekend at Chilhowee Park this weekend.
The 33rd Annual National Street Rod Nationals South, brought in 3400 vintage vehicles.
Street rods ranged in value from a few thousand dollars to more than $100,000.
One participant enjoyed it so much he said not even Saturday's rain could ruin it.
"A lot of people were in the buildings with the rain," said Frank Nichols who participated in the NSRA, "it kind of curtailed stuff yesterday. Today's made up for it."
All the cars that participated were built before 1949, but some of them had some modern touches.
Among the features found on the street rods that were not available when the vehicles were built included air conditioning, cruise control, and stereo systems.
