New Construction in Maryville Could Cause Problems

Maryville, Blount County (WVLT) - One week from Monday, you can expect a lot of traffic confusion in Maryville.

That's because a portion of Broadway will shut down, causing drivers to look for alternate routes around the Five Point in the city.

Officials say a section of East Broadway could be closed for at least 30 days.

Construction is expected to wrap up on June 30th.

And the end result will connect the intersections of Broadway, East Harper and Everett High Road.
