Pellissippi Parkway Reopens After Sinkhole Repaired

Solway (WVLT) - Both lanes of Pellissippi Parkway southbound in Solway are open after a sinkhole opened up Monday evening.

Tennessee Department of Transportation officials tell us they were able to reopen the road around 7:30 p.m.

Early Tuesday, crews opened the sinkhole up to 60 feet long, 20 feet wide and 30 feet deep. They filled it up with boulders and gravel, then paved over it.
