Knoxville (WVLT) - A car chase sends Knoxville Police scrambling to stop four people on the run from authorities and now they are all in custody.
It started around 6:30 Tuesday evening when federal authorities asked the Knoxville Police Department for help stopping a vehicle on Interstate 40 connected with a federal warrant.
The suspects in that vehicle tried to flee, but they hit a tractor trailer, then led police on a chase.
All four suspects were eventually taken into custody without incident.
No word on their names or why federal authorities were looking for them.
No one was seriously injured.
