Oakdale (WVLT) A Rockwood teenager was killed in a head-on crash in Morgan County.
The accident happened on Airport Highway near the Oakdale School around four o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says 18-year-old James Hughes ran off the road, over corrected, and then went into the opposite lane, hitting another car head-on.
Hughes was airlifted to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the other car, 17 year-old Zachary Miles of Oakdale, was injured in the crash.
