Nashville (Release) —The third of the four Million $ Madness $1 million winners claimed their prize today at the Tennessee Lottery’s headquarters, leaving one mystery millionaire remaining.
Laurence Rochat of Knoxville gave his wife Kathy a Million $ Madness ticket to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. And what a gift it turned out to be!
Laurence purchased the winning ticket at Sam’s Restaurant and Deli, where he is a regular customer. “I eat there every weekend,” said Laurence. “I’m sure they are wondering who the winner is!”
Kathy, a CAD operator for Vision Engineering and Development Services, Inc. of Sevierville, and Laurence, an Environmental Specialist with the Knox County Health Department, plan to continue working.
Among other things, the Rochats plan to invest in their daughter’s education and purchase a new home.
Million $ Madness was the Lottery’s first raffle-style game. The game sold out shortly after 9 p.m. CT Sunday night.
