Knoxville (WVLT) --
Firefighters got there just after 5:00 A.M. this morning and found flames pouring through the roof.
That forced them to shift tactics a bit.
"The units made an aggressive interior attack and attempted to keep the fire from spreading to adjoining units," said Assistant Fire Chief Tony Grande.
Two people were inside when the fire broke out but nobody was hurt.
The Red Cross has offered to give those folks a place to stay but it's not clear whether they'll take up the offer.
