Loudon (WVLT) -- On Tuesday, it'll be four months since workers walked out of the Maremont Auto Parts plant in Loudon County.
The strike looks no closer to ending.
More than 250 union members remain out, and walking picket lines.
Union officials say strikers are picketing in four-hour shifts.
"We're maintaining our strike, moral is still as high as it ever was," said Dale Smallen, president of local lodge 2545. "We're ready to ride this thing out"
A Maremont official tells Volunteer TV News that Maremont continues to operate and that no new union negotiations are planned.
That's not due to Maremont, but because there is nothing scheduled through a federal mediator.
Maremont may best be known as the plant that makes Cherry Bomb mufflers.
