79 year-old LaFollette man killed when car goes off the road

LaFOLLETTE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A 79 year-old LaFollette man was killed early Monday morning when his Volvo went off the road and rolled several times, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Reports indicate Earl Strange was headed west on Old Middlesboro Road around 5:30 a.m. when his car went off the road while he was taking a curve. His car flipped several times before coming to a rest on all four tires.

Troopers don't believe Strange was drinking or on drugs at the time, but they did note he was not wearing a seat belt.
