London, Kentucky (WVLT) -- An East Tennessee man was killed Saturday afternoon after he wrecked his motorcycle in South Eastern Kentucky.

The Laurel County Sheriff's Department tells us that Michael Pacwa of Robbins, was on U.S. 25 near London when he spun out of control while taking a turn.

His motorcycle left the road, struck a culvert drain and he was thrown 30 feet from his bike.

Mr. Pacwa was wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck.

Mike always had a smile on his face and always took the time to shake your hand and say hi. He will be greatly missed by his co-workers, friends and family.
