Reward offered in Sevier County murder

Shannon Hercutt

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police are hoping you can help solve a murder, and the Governor approved a $10,000 reward for information in the case.

Shannon Hercutt's death was first thought to be an accident.

She was found dead in her vehicle off Walker Trail in Pigeon Forge in August, but police say an autopsy proved it is a homicide.

No arrests have been made, but relatives are holding out hope.

If you have information, contact the TBI or the Sevier County Sheriff's Department.
