One Killed in Chattanooga I-75 Pile Up

Chattanooga (WVLT) - I-75 south in Chattanooga is back open, one person was killed in a fiery crash near late last night, that shut down the interstate for hours.

Authorities say two tractor trailers were traveling in the center lane on I-75 south at Exit 1, when a third tractor trailer slammed into the back of one the of the big-rigs.

The driver of the third truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses say traffic was very slow in that area due to interstate construction traffic in Georgia.

No one else was injured in the crash and traffic is moving again.
