Crews Find Body of Missing Swimmer

Knoxville (WVLT) - County rescue divers have recovered the body of a man missing since Tuesday from the Cove at Concord Park.

It's that of 21-year-old Pedro Martinez.

Martinez's body was found near the channel, away from the Cove's swimming area.

Investigators say he told co-workers he was going for a swim at Cove Park on Tuesday.

When he didn't show up for work on Wednesday morning, his co-workers called authorities.

Maintenance crews at the Cove found his car and some clothes Wednesday afternoon.

An autopsy will be pre-formed, though investigators do not suspect foul play.
