Laurel County Kentucky (WVLT) -- An Eastern Kentucky woman stands accused of murdering her husband early this morning.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Department says Rosalee Karr called, and admitted she shot her husband David in the abdomen.
Two of her four children were home when it happened.
According to her mother, she didn't mean to deliberately shoot her husband.
"She said David took the gun and pointed it toward his stomach, and told her to pull the trigger," said Rosella Sergeant, Rosalee's mother. "She did it because she thought the gun was empty."
David Karr was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Rosalee Karr will go to court Wednesday.
