Knoxville Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested in Dallas

Dallas, TX (WVLT) - A Knoxville man, wanted in connection with a bank robbery early this month, has been arrested in Texas.

The FBI says 32-year-old Timothy Edward Handley was stopped in Dallas Monday night.

Handley is wanted for the June 13th robbery of the Health Systems Credit Union on Broadway in Knoxville.

Handley went before a Texas judge Tuesday, where he waived his rights to an identity and extradition hearing.

He is now being held pending his transfer back to Knoxville.
