Lebanon, Tenn. (AP) -- A Knoxville pornography actress didn't show up in court at Lebanon Friday morning on a speeding citation.
It was that traffic stop that led to Justis Richert's claim that she had sex with State Trooper James Randy Moss.
The 40-year-old officer resigned from the Tennessee Highway Patrol after the May seventh incident in which he stopped Richert for speeding became public through her blog. Under her porn film name "Barbie Cummings," Richert wrote that Moss took photos and video of their encounter and sent copies to her.
Because Moss has resigned, the 16 other motorists he ticketed and who appeared in court had their traffic charges dropped.
General Sessions Court Clerk Linda Neal says had Richert appeared, her citation would have also been dismissed.
She still has time to pay the $159 ticket.
