Lenoir City (WVLT) -- The 6th Annual Rockin' the Docks Celebration continued today on the banks of Lake Loudon.
The celebration attracted hundreds to Lenoir City and featured live bands playing on two separate stages.
According to one of its organizers, Rockin' the Docks is about taking the time to have fun and catch up.
"You know in today's busy life you are out working and running and you don't get to see the people," said Don Fowler, one of the events sponsors. "Everybody today has just been stomping and fisting and shaking hands and hugging necks. We've just been having a ball and we've had some good music. We're going to have some more and then tonight we're going to have a great fireworks event."
The event is held every year on the Saturday before July 4th.
