Train Derails in Morgan County

Morgan County (WVLT) - A train has derailed in a secluded area of Morgan County.

According to Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, the train derailed near Emory River and Rock Creek around 2:10 p.m.

The Sheriff’s Department is bringing in ATVs to reach the crash site.

Officials say the train was carrying alcoholic beverages which have caused a mess at the scene.

No roads have been closed and no one has been evacuated.

There have been no injuries reported.
