Solway Double Murder Suspect Appear in Court

Knoxville (WVLT) - Two men charged in connection with the murder of a Solway couple made an appearance in court Thursday morning.

Police believe 21-year-old Andrew Mann is the triggerman.

According to Knox County deputies, Mann shot 60-year-old Terrance McGhee while he slept last Friday.

Mann returned to the home later and killed McGhee’s wife Alisa after a struggle.

Also arraigned Thursday, 23-year-old Christopher Kirkland.

Both face two counts of first degree murder and will be back in court on July 20th.

The third suspect 15-year-old Amanda McGhee remains in juvenile custody.

Amanda was dating Mann and is pregnant with his child.

Terrance McGhee was not happy with their relationship.
