KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Monday morning and midday travelers hoping to arrive in Knoxville on a Delta Airlines flight out of Atlanta saw their flights canceled, turning a half-hour flight into lengthy delay.
Most flights departing before noon out of Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport were canceled Monday morning, while others were simply delayed until noon or later.
The cancellations affected two flights bound for Knoxville: Delta flight 860, originally scheduled to arrive at McGhee Tyson at 10:50 a.m., was canceled; as was Delta flight 5305, which was scheduled to arrive at TYS at 12:23 p.m.
Six other afternoon and evening Delta flights from Atlanta to Knoxville were listed as being on-time by late Monday morning.
You can find local flight information on McGhee Tyson's Web site.
