Trial date set in Tinsley murder

Knoxville (WVLT) - Murder charges have been filed against a Knox County man, in connection with the murder of 54-year-old Robert Tinsley.

Tuesday morning, Michael Pinion was arraigned on felony murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, and theft charges.

The judge set a trial date for January 28th.

Back in March, Tinsley’s brother found his body in the back of a pick-up truck as he was going through the victim's property.

At the time the body was found, Tinsley hadn't been seen in three months.
