Knoxville Man Killed After Crashing His Motorcycle

(WVLT) - A Knoxville man has died after crashing his motorcycle.

The Knoxville Police Department says 20 year-old Jeffrey Wilhite crashed his Suzuki into a telephone pole on Haynes Sterchi Road Wednesday night at about 9:00 p.m. in North Knoxville.

Wilhite died on the way to U.T. Medical Center.

Police say they are investigating the cause of the crash.
