Bartley Files New Appeal in School Shooting Case

Jacksboro, Campbell County (WVLT) - The attorney for convicted school shooter Kenny Bartley, Jr. has filed an appeal over his motion to change Bartley’s guilty plea.

Bartley pleaded guilty to killing Campbell County High School Assistant Principal Ken Bruce and wounding two other administrators as part of a plea deal. Bartley’s attorney, Bruce Poston, argues that Bartley was bullied by his previous attorney into taking the plea deal.

Details as they develop on VolunteerTV.com and this afternoon on Volunteer TV FIRST at 4:00.
