Teen Killed In Tazewell Pike Wreck

Corryton (WVLT) -- A Lenoir City teen was killed early this morning in a fatal accident on the Knox County - Union County Line.

Authorities say 17-year old Salena Martin was headed north on Tazewell Pike when she lost control of her car and hit a utility pole.

The car then spun around sideways and landed on the passenger side.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a seatbelt would have saved her life.
