Monster truck crashes into crowd of spectators in DeKalb

DeKalb, Ill. (AP) -- Some spectators have reportedly been injured by a monster truck at an event in Dekalb, Illinois.

WDKB reports the truck was doing a jump when it lost control, ran into the crowd and landed on a set of railroad tracks.

Ambulances rushed to where the event was held and several people have been taken to hospitals. Train traffic in Northern Illinois has been interrupted.

    To the driver of this truck who I know very well he is a great man who im sure is just crushed by this my heart goes out to all involved take care my buddy and rock dont ROLL best wishes to you.
