Former Bredesen Security Trooper Suspended

Nashville (WVLT) - State Trooper Lt. Tim Dover, the 18-year veteran who served on Governor Bredesen security details has been suspended.

It comes following the investigation of Dover over claims he harassed a contractor and other workers working on renovations for the governor's mansion.

Officials say Dover is suspended five days and transferred from his current assignment.

A hearing has been scheduled for the end of the month regarding the investigation and suspension.
