Knoxville (WVLT) Knoxville Fire investigators now know what caused a fire that seriously damaged six units at the Montgomery Village apartment complex last night.

Witnesses told firefighters that someone set fire to mattresses piled up at the base of one building.

Flames traveled up the building and got into the roof.

Luckily firefighters stopped the flames before they engulfed the whole building.

The good news, no one was injured.

If you know anything about who set the fire, call Knoxville Fire investigators at 865-637-1386.
