West Knoxville (WVLT) -A Knox County woman is cited for failure to yield, following an early morning school bus crash.

Knox County Sheriff's Deputies say 59-year-old Saroj Mehta pulled out of a private driveway on Misty Springs Road just before 7:45am and slammed in the side of the bus.

Five children were aboard bus number 176, bound for Karns High School, at the time of the crash, and four people, including the bus driver were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The other two students were transported to another bus and then taken to school.

The driver of the car was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
