Knoxville (WVLT) -- The man convicted of leaving the scene of an accident that killed a college student last year learned his fate in a Knoxville courtroom this morning.
A judge sentenced Jason Stanke, 28, to two years behind bars.
He will receive credit for time already served.
Stanke was found guilty earlier this year in connection with last September's death of Morgan McCarty, 20.
When Stanke is released, as part of his probation, he will have to sign up for a drug program.
