Knoxville (WVLT) -- From the African plains to the Smoky Mountains, this weekends World Bazaar Shopping Extravaganza at the Knoxville Expo Center could have been a handcrafter's dream.
For three days, 95 vendors sold a variety of items from our region and overseas.
The exotic display of items was intended and is the reason the event is held.
"It's to bring a little flavor to Knoxville," said organizer Patrick Vanrennes. "It's something that is really not going to be the ordinary type of shopping you know, an extravaganza."
The organizers hold the World Bazaar and four other events in East Tennessee every year.
