(Knoxville) WVLT - Lights, camera, action!
It's almost movie time in Downtown Knoxville.
One week from Monday is the grand opening of the new Regal Riviera Stadium on Gay Street.
Today, employees were busy getting the tickets ready and putting up movie posters.
When you walk into the lobby area, you'll be greeted with a flair of the old days.
Robbie Arrington, Marketing Manager for Regal Entertainment Group says the location is great for UT students, folks living in South Knoxville and those visiting the area.
"Just for those people who want to come downtown and enjoy downtown. Now you can do that and see a movie. Downtown has grown over the last few years."
Next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is dollar days at the theater.
You can purchase a movie ticket, soda and popcorn for a dollar each.
All the proceeds will be give to charity.
And remember you can park free with your movie ticket.
