Knoxville (WVLT) - A star of sorts is now among the residents at the Knoxville Zoo.
Bruno is a seven year old brown bear confiscated by TWRA from a facility in Tennessee that did not have the proper permits to hold him.
Before he landed at that facility, Bruno was a media star, appearing in several commercials.
Staff members say Bruno is settling in just fine at his new surroundings.
"He came in actually in pretty good condition," Lisa New of the Knoxville Zoo says. "He's in really good shape. His teeth look good and things like that."
With the heat we're experiencing, staff members say Bruno loves to take dips in the pool and eat cool treats.
You can head over to the Knoxville Zoo and see Bruno in person.
