Anderson County (WVLT) - Police say a woman is seriously hurt after a late night accident.
Investigators say the woman was driving a pickup truck and lost control going around a curve Thursday night on Highway 441, near Norris Dam.
The truck then hit a tree.
Rescuers were able to get her out of the vehicle.
She was then taken by ambulance to an area rescuers had landed the Lifestar helicopter, where she was then airlifted to U.T. Medical Center.
Right now, there's no information on the extent of her injuries.
Investigators are not releasing the woman's name.
