Sevier Co. Man Sentenced In Child Rape Case

Sevier Co. (WVLT) - A Sevier County man convicted in July of raping a nine year old girl learned his fate today.

A judge sentenced 34-year-old Kevin Gentry to 25 years in prison.

Authorities say U.S. Marshals found Gentry in 2005, after he allegedly faked his death in South Carolina to avoid prosecution in Tennessee.

Gentry still faces three other charges of statutory rape and 23 more charges of aggravated exploitation of a minor involving three other girls.
