The ambulance in question was not running emergency traffic. IF it ran a red light it was breaking the law regardless of being an ambulance. (IF that was even the case of the accident)

Both parties are to blame. The crew didn't use "due caution" in proceding through a red light, they obviously didn't stop before continuing on. The gmc should be at fault for not yeilding an ambulance regaurdless of what color their light was.
