Knoxville Man Arrested in Laundry Rape Case

Knoxville (WVLT) A Knoxville man has been arrested and charged with aggravated rape.

According to the warrant, Knoxville Police say 27 year old Grant Anthony Friese of Valley Avenue entered The Coin Laundry at 7501 Chapman Highway early in the morning on August 20th.

According to the warrant, police say Friese forced a female victim doing laundry into a bathroom and raped her at knifepoint.

Police say Friese then fled the scene, but was arrested Monday.

He's in jail in lieu of a $250,000 bond pending a hearing in Felony Court on September 4th.
