(WVLT) - There's a new recall on bagged spinach that was sold in Tennessee.
Metz Fresh issued the recall of thousands of cases of the bagged spinach after it tested positive for salmonella.
Metz fresh is recalling it's ten and 16-ounce spinach bags, as well as four-pound cartons and cartons that contain four two and a half pound bags, with the tracking codes 12208114, 12208214 and 12208314.
It was distributed in 48 states.
This recall comes nearly a year after an e-coli outbreak in fresh spinach killed three people and sickened hundreds.
So far, there have been no reports of illness linked to the tainted spinach.
