Knoxville (WVLT) -- No doubt last night's hard fought loss against the Cal Golden Bear's hurt.

As Rocky Top prepared to celebrate Boomsday this afternoon, many Vol fan's were left with some mixed feelings.

For some, the cal game was the centerpiece of their holiday weekend and the loss hurt more than just their pride.

"I spent most of the day looking forward to the 8:00 PM kick off time," said Vol fan Robbie Heatherly. "As the game went on, and it looked like we were going to get the short end, I was depressed and I had a hard time going to sleep.
