Knoxville (WVLT) - It hasn't happened since 1970, when Billy Graham held a crusade in Neyland Stadium.
Now, the Graham family is coming back to East Tennessee.
That's the Grace Baptist Church choir leading the way.
Tuesday morning, city and county leaders, along with numerous pastors, announced today that son, Franklin Graham is holding a crusade, called the Franklin Graham Festival.
Franklin will join his sister Anne Graham Lotz, and son will for the three day crusade in Thompson Boling Arena.
Ann Furrow with Spiritual Heritage Knoxville says, "But for years in the East Tennessee area have been praying for another such revival in our city and been praying specifically that the Billy Graham Association would return to Knoxville."
Billy Graham's associate, Cliff Barrows says, "It is a uniting purpose of people from all denominations all walks of life and let me tell you this, the same order is was given to us by Jesus to go unto all the world and preach the gospel to every creature are still valid".
Cliff Barrows is now 84.
The Franklin Graham Festival is set for April 25 through the 27th, 2008 in Thompson Boling Arena.
