Knoxville (WVLT) A Knox County grand jury will consider the case against a man police say raped a woman inside a laundromat in South Knoxville.

27 year old Grant Anthony Friese of Valley Avenue is charged with aggravated rape.

Knoxville Police say Friese entered The Coin Laundry on Chapman Highway early in the morning on August 20th, and raped a woman at knifepoint in the bathroom.

Police officers say a red light camera took a picture of his car running a nearby red light as he tried to flee.

Police tracked Friese down and arrested him.

He's in jail in lieu of a 250 thousand dollar bond.
