Knoxville (WVLT) A Knoxville man has been indicted on an attempted first-degree murder charge in connection with a drive-by that injured a three year old.
Nathaniel Parker, 24 was arrested by Knoxville Police yesterday.
In addition to the attempted first degree murder indictment, Parker's also been indicted on an aggravated assault charge and unlawful possession of a weapon charge.
He's in jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond.
The shooting happened on August 25th on Wilson Avenue.
Knoxville Police say a three year old boy was accidentally hit by a bullet from Parker's gun.
The boy was sitting in his grandmother's car on Wilson Avenue he was hit.
Paramedics took him to UT Medical Center.
He was expected to recover.
A woman in the same car was hurt by flying glass.
