Knoxville (WVLT) -- Normally you might hear birds chirping or bee's buzzing at Ijams Nature Center.
But on Sunday afternoon, things were a little different.
It was the 22nd Annual Symphony in the Park.
480 guests attended the dinner and performance featuring the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra with actor and Knoxvillian David Keith
Organizers say it's a unique fundraiser.
"Its an opportunity to get outside and see the symphony orchestra in a beautiful setting and it's just a magical experience," said Paul James, executive director of the nature center. "Tonight, the stars are out at Ijams."
Symphony in the Park generates about 10 percent of Ijams annual budget.
This year they hoped to raise more than $80,000.
