Wartburg, Morgan County (WVLT) - Volunteer TV has learned that one of the people charged in connection to the murder of Brushy Mountain Prison Corrections Officer Wayne "Cotton" Morgan over two years ago, will enter a guilty plea on Monday.
Multiple sources tell Volunteer TV that Jennifer Hyatte is scheduled to plead guilty Monday at the Roane County Courthouse.
Those sources also say as part of the plea, Hyatte will be sentenced to life in prison without parole.
District Attorney General Russ Johnson was unavailable for comment.
In a news release his office says the case will be resolved on Monday.
