Knoxville (WVLT) -- With the help of a hand clicker, the race is on for the most high 5's.
Will Johnson, 8, broke the record for most high 5's in a month earlier this year.
This weekend he is trying to best his 5,055 mid-air slaps in only three days.
His goal is simple.
Improve Autism awareness while raising money for a program he is helping his father on.
The program involves adaptive fishing.
"What we're going to do is take a pontoon boat and make it wheel chair accessible," said Steve Johnson, Will's father. "It will allow people in chairs, no matter their disability, to go out on the lake and enjoy a day of fishing. We are going to do some treasure hunts and some things like that with underwater cameras I have and we're just trying to raise money for the boat."
Will tells us he is on track to break his own the record.
So if you see him out and about, give him a high five.
