DANDRIDGE, Tenn. (AP) -- State transportation officials say westbound Interstate 40 at the I-81 split has reopened after being closed for several hours this morning by the wreck of two tractor-trailers.
The crash was reported shortly after 6 a.m., Eastern time.
No one was seriously hurt, but the incident left one truck jackknifed and the other lying on its side, leaking diesel fuel.
The cargoes were aluminum foil and paper.
The accident scene was about 25 miles west of the Tennessee-North Carolina state line.
