Inspired by Madonna? Two cones of cotton candy adorne this 2012 entry for the Tennessee Valley Fair's Bedazzle Your Bra & Cap for the Cure Contest.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- The Bedazzle Your Bra for the Cure contest is just one of the many events that people enter to win award at the Tennessee Valley Fair.
It's only $5.00 to enter a piece and all the money raised goes to the Knoxville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Amy Dunaway from Susan G. Komen said "We're so thankful for events like this because without them we wouldn't be able to save lives."
It's a contest that the "Scrappy Quilters" from Halls participate in every year.
"We have a few ladies in our group that are breast cancer survivors and decorating bras is just a great way to have fun and laugh." said Diane Scarbough, member of the group.
But bras aren't the only items they're bedazzling; they're decorating caps too!
For both items this year's categories include; Pretty 'n Pink, Most Humorous, Best Named Bra, Most Creative, Smallest, and Largest.
If you're interested in entering a bra or cap they need to be turned in to the Kerr Building at Chilhowee Park between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m on Tuesday, September 3, and Wednesday, September 4, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
You'll be able to check out the entered designs during the fair and judging will be Sunday, September 8, at 1:00 p.m.
