KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A late night police search on Knoxville's east side lands a juvenile in police custody.
Around 10:45 Monday night, officers responded to an assault call in the 3400 block of Martin Luther King Ave.
As officers arrived, a teenager ran from police.
Officers set up a perimeter around MLK, Bentley Street and Ashland Avenue to search the area. K9 officers were also called in.
After a short search, the teen was arrested. Right now authorities don't know if the teen was involved in the assault.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
