Back to School Bash helps thousands of students

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett hosts third annual Back to School Bash at the Knoxville Expo Center.

More than 5,000 people attended grabbing school supplies they need to make this school year the best ever.

Dozens of corporations and organizations came together to hand out pencils, pens, paper, folders, crayons and even glue.

This annual event helps children in the area get everything they need to start school with new supplies.
