SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- A taste of bluegrass and barbecue turn downtown Sevierville into a national draw.
Both vendors and visitors from places like Indiana, North Carolina, and Illinois have made the trip this weekend to the 8th annual Bloomin' BBQ & Bluegrass event.
They'll join plenty of East Tennesseans hungry for what could be some of the best ribs, chicken, and sweet corn in the country.
Meanwhile, those looking to enjoy some great music along with their meal, will have no trouble finding a good mix of artists to entertain them.
Other crafty and talented folks, like one pastel painter...bringing to life portraits of East Tennessee's own Dolly Parton...are also on hand.
It's a family friendly atmosphere that organizers hope could fill the area around Sevierville's courthouse with up to 37 thousand guests.
